    Social Media conversations

Thank you to the Strawberry Line Cafe for letting us host the latest Social Media Surgery.

We had a busy morning with a handful of local small businesses. This time round, it was great to see  Kate an ambassador for Barefoot books, Emma from The Cocoa Cakery, and  Sarah from Yatton Book Shop.

The monthly surgeries at the Strawberry Line Cafe will be held on the first Wednesday of each month.

If you are interested in coming to the next surgery on 6th April, slots can be booked now.

The Strawberry Line Cafe is here

We were very pleased to learn that the Strawberry Line Cafe is opening its doors on 13th December 2010. All the hard work of Antony Scott (featured in this video) and the rest of the team will we know make this a great day.

Antony attended one of our Social Media Surgeries and the Strawberry Line Cafe Project has continued to reach out the community and beyond through Facebook and Twitter.

If you use Yatton station – and even if you don’t – do stop by and pay the Strawberry Line Cafe a visit. They’ll be delighted to see you.

Welcome to the Social Media Cider Café

We created the Social Media Cider Café to help local businesses and charities in the South West build an understanding of social media and a space to ask any questions they may have to make the business case for embracing it.

The event is free and informal, and you should feel comfortable asking anything you want – for example: what is social media? How can I use it to engage with my customers? Where do I start if I want to create and promote my blog? Is Facebook relevant to my organisation? And do I need to ‘tweet’?

You may already have a pretty good idea of what you want to achieve, but there are times when you wish you could just ask about something in particular with someone face-to-face. The Social Media Cider Café is the perfect environment for you to ask your questions and help you along the journey you need to make to use and understand the tools that are now available to you.

The sessions are designed to give you one-to-one time. After the initial session, if you wish to build a social media strategy around your products or services, of course we will be delighted to help. But we will not be calling you; it is entirely up to you.

If you know anyone who might benefit from this service, do get in touch.

Your feedback is greatly appreciated and we would love to hear from you after you have attended one of our sessions.

We look forward to seeing you at our next meet up.
